Russell Crowe may be playing Noah. Or Robocop. Either way.
Russell Crowe isn't what you'd call a huge box office draw these days, but it sounds like he's getting some plum offers lately. It all depends whether you'd like to see him as Noah on an ark or Robocop in Detroit. Decisions, decisions ...
Black Swan mastermind Darren Aronofsky is making a film based on the Bible story, appropriately called Noah, and he apparently wants Crowe to play the lead, Deadline.com says. Meanwhile, Jeff Sneider from Variety freaked out Hollywoodville's fans by tweeting via @TheInSneider, "Sure, Russell Crowe, MIGHT star in Aronofsky's NOAH... but do you know what else he MIGHT star in? Three words: Ro. Bo. Cop. #FloatThisBoat" That's just crazy.
Or is it? When people remake movies, they can do some crazy things. Like remake Robocop. That's a crazy thing. Of course, Russell's ballooned up so much in the recent past, he could be bulking back up to play the ark, so we shouldn't take rumors at face value.
