Ryan Reynolds says Scarlett Johansson divorce left him in 'a lot of pain'
Ryan Reynolds has a new movie to promote, so what better way to get wives and girlfriends to agree to see Green Lantern than to dish about his divorce from Scarlett Johansson? Besides changing the name of the movie to The Proposal and having Sandra Bullock in it, we mean.
"Anyone who gets divorced goes through a lot of pain, but you come out of it," the 34-year-old says in the new Details. "I'm not out of it yet. At all." Plus, the repercussions are far-reaching: " I don't think I want to get married again, but you always reevaluate these things. Any kind of crisis can be good. It wakes you up. I gotta say, I'm a different person than I was six months ago."
One thing he also isn't is angry at ScarJo, telling the mag, "Departing a relationship and still maintaining the idea that this is still the same person I married is a great luxury that I experienced. Thankfully I was in a relationship where two people chose to remain on the high road in every regard." Aw, what fun is a divorce like that?
