Ryan Seacrest's stalker gets two years in prison
An L.A. judge has sentenced Ryan Seacrest's stalker to two years in prison. At least he'll be able to keep up with the latest singles in the lockup.
Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. received the maximum sentence on Monday after previously pleading no contest to stalking the Americal Idol host, the AP reports. The 26-year-old Uzomah has been jailed since his arrest in October at the E! studios, where he tried to reach Seacrest. He'd been busted waiting for Seacrest outside an Orange County hospital a month before that.
Uzomah was carrying a knife the second time, which probably led Superior Court Judge John S. Fisher to reject a defense request for probation. Getting caught following someone while holding a deadly weapon will do that.
