Sam Lutfi has the gall to sue Britney Spears
TMZ says the suit has been brought by that dirtbag Sam Lutfi, the former manager who was finally run off by Brit's folks after being accused of drugging her and running through her bank account like pro athlete at a Caddy dealer on signing day. He didn't care for that, though, since he's now suing for libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract.
Lutfi's filing says folks Jamie and Lynne "launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney's life." Yes, that pretty much sounds like what they tried to do.
Among the claims is one that Jamie "intentionally punched him in the chest" and threatend to kill him if he ever said anything bad about Lynne or a member of the family again. Note it says "again."
Lutfi also says he "has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn" after the publication of Lynne's book, Through the Storm. He also claims Brit owes him management fees and broke their contract, an alleged oral contract for four years and 15 percent commission.
This comes after Brit was granted a restraining order against Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib just last Friday. And even if this was all true, Lutfi needs to look at what a mess his client became under his supervision and ask himself if her really deserves that commission. Of course, Wall Street still gave out bonuses, so what do we know?
