Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick welcome surrogate's twins
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick got their special delivery this morning, as the surrogate mom carrying their twins gave birth at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Us reports. Get ready for a whole stack of new baby pics.
Barbara Walters announced the births on The View Tuesday morning. The two girls will be the second and third kids for the couple, meaning 6-year-old James is getting two younger sisters.
The couple were expected to release a statement later today.
UPDATE: "Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters at 3:58 p.m.," the couple's reps said in a statement. "Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces, and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon."
TMZ reports that a water main break in the community means the babies will be without running water for as long as three days. Expect an airlift to L.A. at any time.
