Selena Gomez may have broken up with Justin Bieber over Rihanna affair

tbd-bieberrihanna020713.jpgWe haven't even finished the first full week of February and already we've found our Boy This Can't Be True But We Wish It Was winner of the month: Life & Style is saying the reason Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up is because ... Biebs was hooking up with S&M girl Rihanna! Oh man, sometimes this job making fun of dumb news just writes itself.

"It has devastated her," a source told the mag of how Gomez feels about all this. "It really cut like a knife because it happened in February of 2011, when Selena and Justin had been dating for months and were falling in love. It's caused Selena to question their entire relationship. ... Selena thinks maybe they’ve been hooking up all along."

Well, there are plenty of reasons she should have questioned that, but the least among them probably would be Life & style's assertion RiRi and JB got down after a Lakers game on Feb. 20, 2011. We seem to recall Rihanna making fun of a shirtless Bieber a couple years back, but our memories are clogged with Michael Jackson autopsy reports and Ke$ha residue.

But because the glossy has not one but TWO sources saying this, it totally must be true. This second person says the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show back in November was just another excuse for Justin and Rihanna to go at it like rabid rabbits.

"During breaks, they'd sneak away to the Hotel Giraffe," the source says. "They were alone — their security made sure of it. Hotel staff blocked off the entire floor for them." Because telling an entire security team the two singers were off in a room together is the best way to keep things secret.

Bieber's rep denies this, of course, and the first source says Bieber would never admit, for fear of letting down his fans, but we all know the truth: Justin would have to go into the witness protection program if Chris Brown ever found out about this, open relationship or not.
