Shia LaBeouf likes to draw comic books now, too
Transformers refugee Shia LaBeouf is really looking to do something different these days, since he's started making a name for himself as a comic book artist. Kissing Megan Fox really must have been life-altering for him.
People says the 25-year-old attended the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo last weekend to sell his own graphic novels, Stale N Mate, Cyclical and Let's F---ing Party through publishing company The Campaign Book. He started doing it between filming his next two releases, The Company You Keep and The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.
"I just did it for fun," he told the mag. "I had some downtime and I've always been a big fan of comic books. I've said it's like singing in the shower. It's very free and without edit." He's also apparently a big fan of Kid Cudi and Marilyn Manson, because he's published stuff by them, too. Just remember, we're not talking about high art or anything -- it doesn't even look like he realizes you're supposed to clean up your pencils after you ink them.
