The Spice Girls' new video strangely decent
The Spice Girls' new video, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends), hit the InterWebs just moments ago on the Today show's Web site (click above to watch it), and we have to say, it's not that bad. Well, aside from the fact it's the same mindless, melodic mess that made the girls famous in the first place, that is. It almost makes us forget we're watching a pack of mothers in their 30s try to wring one last round of riches out of an unwitting audience.
Actually, the highlight is Geri Halliwell's fabulous abs, which have been sculpted to such perfection it makes us wonder how daughter Bluebell didn't hurt herself when she was born. Melanie Brown eschews the kind of showboating Victoria Beckham loves, opting for a brassiere and skirt while Becks auditions for an Agent Provacateur campaign.
And while we expected Melanie Chisholm and her goth-girl ensemble to be the black sheep, little seen is Baby Spice Emma Bunton, who tries her best to hide the fact that she apparently hasn't worked out as much as the others by loading up on closeups and strategically placed parts of the set (like the other girls).
What do you think, Juice*heads? Are the Spice Girls back?
