The trouble-plagued production of Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is expecting more bad news. One of the musical's lead actresses, Natalie Mendoza, is apparently negotiating an exit, reports the New York Times. Mendoza suffered a concussion during the

shows's first preview performance last month after she was struck in the head by a rope holding a piece of equipment while standing offstage. She's reportedly hammering out the language with the producers, the Times says, using unnamed sources. Mendoza, who played the character Arachne, had her last performance on Dec. 20 -- the same day a bad accident occurred that badly injured cast member and friend Christopher Tierney. In that accident, Tierney sustained broken ribs and suffered some internal bleeding after falling into a pit during the closing moments of the show. It was the fourth accident since the stunt-laden production went into previews.
