There's been another casting decision in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel, and because that seems to be the beat The Juice* is now on, we'll tell you who it is: Benedict Cumberbatch. No, that's the actor's name, not the character he's playing.

The 35-year-old Brit is currently in both War Horse and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, but will be playing the CGI dragon Smaug and lend his voice to the Necromancer in The Hobbit movies, Deadline.com says. He also played Stephen Hawking in the 2004 movie Hawking.

There's no word on what role he'll actually play, but since it's allegedly a lead role, we're guessing that long-sought-after villain they've been hunting for. As long as he's not playing Khan, we'll be fine.
