Tareq and Michaele Salahi may be getting kicked off 'Real Housewives of D.C.'
It sounds like Tim Gunn isn't the only one who's sick and tired of Tareq and Michaele Salahi from The Real Housewives of D.C. PopEater makes it sound like Bravo is getting ready to dump the party crashers ASAP. Can we help pack their bags?
"The D.C. show is the only show in the entire franchise that isn't a true hit," a source tells Rob Shuter. "And the Salahi's are the biggest reason for that. At first, execs thought they struck gold with all the attention the couple got over the White House dinner. But now they realize not all press is good press and this couple's involvement in the show has turned more viewers off than on."
It wasn't even stuff they did on the show that's the problem; Skipping a launch party for the show and constantly telling people Bravo won't let them discuss their White House misadventures (despite yammering about it nonstop previously) have taken a toll.
"Bravo (has) consistently and repeatedly stated to the Salahis and their representatives that they were free to speak to press, law enforcement, Congress and anyone else about attending the State Dinner," the network told PopEater in a statement. "Indeed, they have given multiple press interviews on that very subject."
Sounds like they'll soon be giving interviews about why they were canned from the show, if anyone even cares by then.
