All you Juice* readers who don’t quite “get” our format and are hatin’ on our jokes about Taylor Hicks, peep this: Star magazine says the American Idol winner was spotted smooching Caroline Lyders, a Milwaukee news anchor, despite denying reports they are an item.

That doesn’t sit well with Lyders’ boyfriend and high-school sweetheart, insurance businessman Aaron Ruffcorn, the mag says.

“(Lyders) was with our family for the (Christmas) holiday and we all had a lot of fun,” Ruffcorn’s father Michael said. “I know they have been talking about marriage for some time.”

Says the jilted Ruffcorn about the girl-stealin’ Hicks: “Whether there’s a future for Caroline and Taylor, I don’t know. As to whether there’s still a future [for us] at this point, stranger things have happened.”
