Taylor Swift gives Country Music Hall of Fame $4 million

It's hard to hate Taylor Swift as it is, but it's really hard to hate her when she donates $4 million of her own money for a music education program. Next thing you know, she won't be doing drugs or getting knocked up, either.

The AP reports the 22-year-old gave Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the seven figures to open an exhibit and classroom space in 2014 to be named the Taylor Swift Education Center. Naming it after her is the least they could do; well, she also gets her own exhibit, too.

"It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs, and I'm happy to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do," museum director Kyle Young told the AP. "Is there a better person out there who's in touch with a young audience? I think not."

The two-story, 7,500-square-foot space is a part of a larger expansion that will connect the museum to the city's convention center. It's the second-largest gift the museum has ever received from one person, but the most-ever from an artist. All those other country musicians must be too busy swilling beer at the local tap and cap to fork over some themselves.
