Taylor Swift threatens to sue website over alleged nude photo
Squeaky clean singer Taylor Swift is threatening suing a website that claims a topless woman in a photo it posted is none other than the 21-year-old. She says it's because the photo is not of her, but frankly, we can see why she would sue either way.
CelebJihad.com ran the photo showing a blonde woman stretched across a bed in only blue undies way back on Aug. 17 under the headline "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?" -- that's what the time stamp says, anyway. Now she is having her lawyers allege trademark infringement for using her name on a photo that she says is clearly not her, TMZ reprots. We're not going to link to it, but you're all adults, so go find it yourself. (You are all adults, right?)
The site contains "false pornographic images and false 'news' about the singer," the letter says. Her lawyers demand the image be taken down, but all we can think is that hardly anyone had seen this over the past two-and-a-half months before the lawyers blew it up. Now Celeb Jihad is gonna crash from all the people flocking to see it. Smooth move, legal eagles.
