Terminator's Thomas Dekker gets plea deal in DUI case
In a post-hiatus where-are-they-now? moment, erstwhile John Connor Thomas Dekker -- the teen version from Fox's defunct Terminator: The Sarrah Connor Chronicles -- has gotten a slap on the wrist in an L.A. DUI case. Color us shocked.
The actor was sentenced to two years informal probation and ordered to take a 12-hour alcohol education class, in addition to paying a whole $300 fine, TMZ reports. Of course, considering he's out of work, that may be a tall order.
Dekker, 22, pleaded no contest Monday to misdemeadnor reckless driving after sideswiping a 17-year-old bicyclist on Oct. 14. He had been arrested on two counts of felony DUI, but it turns out the biker was riding wit no reflectors the wrong way up a freeway on-ramp, so it's like he was just asking to be hit.
