Tbdsantiago032107 It’s a case of save-the-series, save-the-network over at NBC, where a husband-and-wife creative team have sued over an alleged stolen plotline for the show Heroes. E! Online reports New Yorkers Clifton Mallery and wife Amnau Karam Eele are accusing two people who said they were Crossing Jordan writers for stealing copies of their work from a 2005 exhibition about an artist who paints the future. That sounds suspiciously like Santiago Cabrera’s character Isaac Mendez on the hit TV show, which also features an indestructible cheerleader and a radioactive superhuman. “We intend to defend [the lawsuit] vigorously and expect to prevail,” NBC’s people said. If not, expect heroin-addled Isaac to end up in the In-Sink-Erator. [Photo: NBC handout]
