T.I. and Tiny arrested for having Ecstasy
Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested Wednesday night in West Hollywood after a cop who pulled them over smelled a lot of weed in their car. Wait, isn't he on probation already?
The 29-year-old was driving when a cop yanked him aside for making an illegal U-turn and "smelled a strong order of marijuana" coming from the big-money Maybach, RadarOnline says. Oh, that could just be residual, you know. He and Tameka, 36, were released on $10,000 bail around 4 a.m. left coast time. TMZ adds that the real charge was possession, after a search of the car turned up a small amount of X, but enough for a felony.
The newlyweds (they married in Miami Beach on July 30) have had run-ins with the law before. T.I., nee Clifford Harris, just got out of prison last year for a conviction for illegal possession of a firearm. We'll have to wait and see what the drug charges do to him.
