T.I. is released from Atlanta halfway house, takes SUV home
After getting tossed back into a halfway house for leaving prison in a tour bus last month, rapper T.I. is a free man again, learning his lesson about filling out forms correctly and using only an SUV to make his way home. It had a chaffeur, of course, so it's not like he totally lost his star power.
Clifford Harris left the Atlanta halfway house just after midnight Thursday morning with no fanfare, the AP reports. he simply got into his SUV and left. He probably didn't want to repeat his two-week stay in prison after being released after serving 10 months for drug charges.
When Harris was released Aug. 31 from a federal prison in Arkansas, he put down the wrong form of transportation he would be receiving on probation forms; he said it would be a van, but it turned out to be a lavish tour bus with documentary filmmakers. By the time he got to Atlanta, the fuzz had taken him into custody again for violating his terms of release. Seems a little harsh to The Juice*, but then, there's no Juice* tour bus to take home.
