Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren buys Palm Beach mansion, tears it down

tbd-elinnordegren010612.jpgTiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren recently bought a palatial, $12 million North Palm Beach home with the $100 million she got in the divorce, complete with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. So what does she do with it? She tears that thing down. That's right, Tiger ... she didn't even want the house.

TMZ says Nordegren plans on building a new home where the 9,000-square-foot manse used to be, hiring an architect to build her dream home. The site says every worker must sign a confidentiality agreement, presumably to prevent the gossip media from knowing where she keeps her golf clubs.

Elin is apparently living in a nearby mansion while demolition, design and construction are taking place. Because she hasn't made a large enough carbon footprint just yet.
