Timbaland didn't try to kill himself, all right?
Contrary to popular belief, Timbaland did not try to kill himself because somebody stole a $2 million watch from his personal collection, okay? Just thought you all would breathe easier knowing that. Besides, if Timbaland was going to kill anyone over that, it certainly wouldn't be himself.
Reports Wednesday say the producer (nee Timothy Mosley) was distraught upon learning his timepiece had gone missing, so he took off from Malibu in his Escalade. A call to the Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff's Dept. said they "had an emergency" and Timbaland was probably suicidal. The cops say he wife, mother-in-law and friends couldn't find him and thought he had taken some medication.
"I don't even know what happened, to be honest," the 39-year-old said himself on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "I don't know what people are talking about. Why would I commit suicide?" He admitted "something did happen" and that something other than a watch had been stolen, but he "took a drive to figure out how I'm going to handle it." Meanwhile, he returned to his studio that same day to record with Keri Hilson. Oh, did no one check his office?
It sounds like typical Californians flipped out because he wasn't wired into his cell phone, GPS, OnStar, iPod, Facebook and Twitter accounts, satellite tracking software and his humane society chip at all times. It's called alone time, people; look into it.
