Time for Turkish 'Star Wars'

Everyone knows the seminal 1977 George Lucas vehicle that launched a thousand starships, but perhaps the most memorable "imitation" is the 1982 rip Dünyayi kurtaran adam, a Turkish joint that literally translates as The Man Who Saves the World. Not only does this clip feature a lot of jumping and decapitations, there is actual Star Wars footage spliced in. It apparently also borrows the soundtracks of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Moonraker, Flash Gordon, Planet of the Apes and The Black Hole. May the farce be with you.
