TLC going on reunion tour, complete with Left Eye Lopes
Today is the 10-year anniversary of the death of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, so you know what's coming: That's right, a TLC reunion is in the works. And it looks likes even Left Eye will be there. Thanks a lot, hologram of Tupac Shakur.
Well, it's not like TLC has the budget for something like that. Instead, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas are booking cities for a reunion tour -- they've got five U.S. cities set already -- with more on the way, TMZ says. The late Lopes, who died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002, will rejoin her pals onstage via a projection screen and recorded vocals. That will be ... macabre as hell. What, no Crystal Jones?
There's no word if Tampa will be on the slate, but we've got to figure there are plenty of cities on the waiting list before us. Now, if The Doors were going on a reunion tour with a big-screen projection of Melbourne native Jim Morrison, that'd be a different story.
