Tom Cruise starring in 'Mission: Impossible 4'
We guess Tom Cruise has made up with Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone -- Cruise has just agreed to return as Ethan Hunt in a fourth Mission: Impossible movie. Wait, they made a third one? We must have blocked that out.
Deadline.com says Paramount has inked the deal, with J.J. Abrams as producer. It is slated to start shooting this summer for a Memorial Day 2011 release. We can't wait -- for the Avatar sequel.
Paramount is owned by Viacom, which had a widely publicized feud between septuagenarian Redstone Tommy only two short years ago following the actor's couch-jumping antics on Oprah Winfrey's show. “Tom and J.J. are great talents and we are excited to be working with them to re-launch this legendary franchise,” Paramount Pictures Chairman & CEO Brad Grey said, according to the site. Maybe Sumner forget who Cruise was.
