Travolta stops for a pint and a prayer
John Travolta narrowly saved himself from making the front page in an awful way, the New York Post says. The actor was flying from Germany to New York in his Boeing 707-138 when technical problems forced him to land in Ireland. He was shaken but unhurt, the paper says. Mechanics said the jet needed to be repaired, so he hired another plane to get to the Big Apple. Maybe he should be in charge at US Airways.
