Travolta talks in the wee hours
For the July issue of W magazine, actor John Travolta insisted on a 2 a.m. interview with writer Kevin West at the Church of Scientology headquarters in Clearwater.
Travolta, who stars in the new Hairspray movie, likes to go to bed at 6 or 7 in the morning and sleep until early afternoon whenever his work schedule permits, the magazine reports. It's a habit he developed in childhood.
He and wife Kelly Preston live mostly in Ocala. He often flies a half-hour each way to attend Scientology classes in Clearwater, where photographs for the story were taken.
Hairspray opens nationwide on July 20.
