Tyra Banks didn't tell staff she was quitting talk show
Think back an entire day or so, to when you heard that Tyra Banks was going to give up on her talk show and pursue movie projects. Sad, wasn't it? Even sadder: You heard about it around the same time the employees did.
The New York Daily News says that Tyra's diva shtick is no act, and people who worked on her Daytime Emmy-winning show were alerted only when Ty-Ty told the press. And apparently this kind of thing has happened before.
"When the show moved from L.A. to New York, several staffers weren't even directly told about the change -- they heard through the grapevine that it was going to move locations," a source tells the tabloid." Even so, a lot of those people gave up their lives on the West Coast so they could continue working for the show. Now they're out of luck."
Saying it was "pretty difficult to work for Tyra," another source says she wasn't the only Tyrant on set: "She and the higher-ups on the production staff could be extremely brutal. She really is a diva."
