Usher, Shakira are replacing Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera on 'The Voice'
We already know NBC's The Voice has copied almost everything else from Fox's American Idol, so this is zero surprise: Us Weekly says for the show's fourth season, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera are out, and Usher and Shakira are in. That's not really a bad trade at all, actually.
The magazine says the change will arrive after the current season is over, whcih means Xtina and Cee-Lo both are probably looking to get back to, you know, singing for a living. Aguilera, especially, just told Ryan Seacrest she had seen the project as "kind of like a side project." Especially when Bionic tanked as bad as it did. Maybe her new album Lotus will do better. Cee-Lo, meanwhile, is apparently developing a show of his own.
Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are expected to stay on the show, but we won't hold that against NBC. Then again, if the ratings on this show continue to sink, we may not be able to enjoy Usher and Shakira for all that long. Cross your fingers.
