Val Kilmer's ex-wife files lien for missing child support
Val Kilmer is apparently keeping up on his reputation of being deadbeat dad, since his ex-wife has once again put a lien on his property until he pays up in back child support. He must not have learned his lesson last time.
Former Willow costar Joanne Whalley has filed court documents demanding Kilmer pay up, TMZ reports. The couple's marriage ended in 1996, when Val agreed to pay $27,500 per month for his two children, Mercedes and Jack, who are now 19 and 16. Unfortunately, he had this problem before, leading Whalley to put a lien on his New Mexico property in 2007 -- and it took Val a year to clear up that situation.
There was no comment from Kilmer's camp on why he allegedly hasn't been paying. If his ballooning weight is any indication, it's because he keeps buying too many groceries.
