Vampires, Sandra Bullock rack up awards at 2010 Teen Choice Awards

In case our photo of Katy Perry in Monday's tbt* wasn't enough coverage of the 2010 Teen Choice Awards for you, it looks like vampires sucked the life out of the competition. Sorry, had to take that one. But no, really, the undead sure won a lot.

Both New Moon and Eclipse in the Twilight series combined forces to bring home 12 surfboards, with the series' Robert Pattinson getting four of them on his very own -- although one was for Choice Movie Actor: Drama for Remember Me. R-Pattz missed out on the award for Fantasy to Taylor Lautner, who also racked up Choice Male Hottie, Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon and Choice Smile, so lots of girls are on Team Jacob. Bobby did get Choice Summer Movie Star, though, along with awards for Liplock and Chemistry with expressionless Kristen Stewart.

Possibly the highlight for anyone older than 14 was Sandra Bullock rocking leather jeans and dancing to Lil Jon's Get Low with Betty White while Sandy accepted the award for Choice Movie Actress: Drama (she also won for Romantic Comedy). The reason: She and White won an award for their dance in The Proposal, too.

"I don't know if you should bring attention to this. Some things are better left unsaid. It's been awhile since I was a teen," Bullock said. Too true, Sandy, but even the kids like Betty White, so you're safe at 46.

Meanwhile, TV's The Vampire Diaries won an additional seven awards, proving that 85 million votes cast by teenagers can't hand out anything to True Blood, the real best vamp show on the tube. As further proof these aren't the most sophisticated consumers, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber each joined Lautner and Pattinson with four awards each, while Channing Tatum got Choice Movie Actor: Action Adventure for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Bet you're glad it's on Fox tonight so you can see all that, huh?
