Vince Neil pleads guilty to DUI, gets 2 weeks in jail
Vince Neil pleaded guilty to a DUI charge in Las Vegas on Wednesday, working out a plea deal to spend a little over two weeks in jail. We think they're still shooting that series Beyond Scared Straight, if you're looking for something to do, Vince.
E! reports Neil worked out a plea deal with the Clark County DA to go to the lockup for 15 days, then spend another 15 days under house arrest. The Motley Crue singer's blood-alcohol level was almost three times the legal limit when he was arrested in June. The 49-year-old had originally pleaded not guilty, but changed after he struck this deal, which also includes a $585 fine, a class and a victim's impact panel in the next 90 days.
That's getting off pretty lightly, considering he killd Hanoi Rocks member Nick "Razzle" Dingley in 1984 in a drunken car crash. He is expected to surrender Feb. 15. To jail, we mean, not life -- that seems to have happened awhile ago.
