What's inside Brangelina's $60M NY estate?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's pending move to the New York area has just been sweetened, it seems. Star says not only will the couple and their six kids be renting a $60 million Tudor-style manse in the Gold Coast section of Long Island, but they'll also be able to use the owner's $90 million yacht. Oh, it's hard being a pair of beautiful, highly paid movie stars.
The 48-acre Sassafras estate in Lloyd Neck features a 22,000-square-foot main house with eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, plus a six-bedroom guest house and an 11-bedroom staff house, in case you didn't want to vacuum all that carpeting. There's also two helipads, a private dock on Long Island Sound and a live-in fallout shelter, which may come in handy someday.
But the real prize is the billionaire Kuwaiti owner's boat, the Samar. Featuring four decks, a helipad, two pools, a gym, three jet skis and a movie theater, the yacht can hold 12 guests and 26(!) crew members, to fight off any pirates off the coast of Manhattan. Meanwhile, it's almost time for you to look into plywood to cover the windows of that hovel you call a home when the hurricanes hit.
