Which one of these Men in Black actors is a prima donna?
Anyone out there looking forward to the new Men in Black III? (Personally, we thought the second one was bad enough.) From the sound of stories leaking out of New York, this could be another alien encounter worth skipping.
According to The Wrap, the sequel starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones has been infected by everything “from script problems to an oversized budget to movie-star behavior to a shooting schedule from hell.”
First came the issue of Smith’s $9,000-a-month, 53-foot behemoth trailer clogging up the neighborhood. Now reports say Smith has been throwing his stardom around, ordering that a set be torn down because “it wasn’t right” and that another set be rebuilt to accommodate his improvisations, TheWrap has learned.
“It’s a big, expensive movie in New York City,” said an individual involved in the production. “The last three, four weeks are a lot of chase scenes, so a lot of this gets magnified.” But things are not rosy with Smith, who reportedly left the set for a few days to return to L.A. “There is a little bit of a thing going on” with Smith, the source lamented.
