Wikipedia can't be trusted

Sinbad_6 In case you hadn’t heard, Sinbad isn’t dead. After a week of swirling rumors the actor/comedian had kicked the bucket at age 50 after a heart attack, the entertainer spoke about his demise. “I rose from the dead and then died again,” he told the AP. The trouble started when his profile on the St. Pete-based Web site Wikipedia announced on March 10 he’d died, prompting a phone call from his daughter, who no doubt was relieved to hear him answer the phone. A few days later the calls, text messages and e-mails poured in by the hundreds. Now the listing has been corrected and locked by the user-edited site to prevent further tampering by pranksters. “It’s gonna be more commonplace as the Internet opens up more and more,” said Sinbad, whose real name is David Adkins. “It’s not that strange.”
