Wilmer Valderrama may get more involved in politics
Former MTV host and That '70s Show stereotype Wilmer Valderrama just said something really scary, telling Politico he may one day seek office. If that's not a threat to national security, then we haven't seen that made for TV movie Seal Team Six.
"Honestly, I wouldn't rule it out," the 32-year-old told Politico at the BET Inaugural Ball on Monday. "I feel like I'm the most efficient when I can play right in between the fences — when I can be that liaison between the people and the government." Such will be the case when the U.S.-born, Venezuela-reared actor is in Washington this year to discuss immigration.
"I think that immigration should be one of the first issues in the agenda that we attack," he said. "I think it's time to recognize that something was promised in the first term, and I think that we were patiently waiting and now we have given you this opportunity — and I'm talking about the entire administration — to actually take charge and understand that it's a priority to really honor those people that have been here in this country working for this country, as well as providing and producing."
That certainly sounds like part of a stump speech if we've ever heard one. Say, does anyone know if that Zero Dark Thirty is better than Seal Team Six? Maybe Wilmer has seen both of those.
