Woman armed with brick breaks into Simon Cowell's home
Talent-show mogul Simon Cowell got a little too close to the masses over the weekend, after a woman broke into his West London mansion on Saturday. Armed with a brick. And no Randy Jackson to watch his back.
"The woman who was in his house clearly has some sort of mental problems," a source told Us Weekly. "She roamed around the house, lied in his bed, (and went) through his bathroom." The woman was identified as 29-year-old Leanne Zaloumis of London.
"It's been quite surreal, and frightening, but I was lucky that I didn't get hurt and nothing bad happened," Cowell apparently told a friend, the mag said. "I don't want something like this to happen again, because it could have been much worse a weapon than a brick. It could have been a gun."
Zaloumis was charged with aggravated burglary because she intended to "inflict grievous bodily harm" and appeared in court on Monday. Sure, we've all thought about that from time to time, but you can't just go out and do it.
