Yes, we love the '80s
It brings a tear to The Juice*’s eye to see The Police reunited, even if we can’t afford the ridiculously overpriced tickets. But 20,000 fans in Vancouver got a lively two-hour set Monday night as singer/bass player Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland played together in an arena for the first time since 1986.
Among the big money in attendance: actress Penelope Cruz, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and Sting’s wife, Trudie Styler, who was relegated to the seventh row. Sting and Co. will arrest the crowd at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa on July 11, so shine up your first-born so they’ll fetch better prices when you sell them for seats.
