Zach Galifianakis says there will be a 'Hangover 3'
Hold onto your roofies, kids, because Zach Galifianakis says the suits are now scheming to make a sequel to The Hangover Part II. That's what happens when you have an $100 million-plus opening weekend.
"They want to do a Hangover III," Galifianakis tells Rolling Stone. "I'm getting fricking phone calls already." This time around, the action may very well focus on his character Alan escaping from a mental institution, with a little help from the wolf pack. Doing the same movie twice must have gotten old.
As a side note, he discusses with the mag how the job offers came rolling in after the first Hangover, many of which didn't work out. He rejected a $700,000 offer to be a Time Warner spokesman, and when Nike contacted him for something, it didn't go well: "We had a conference call," he says. "The first thing I said was, 'So, do you guys still have 7-year-olds making your stuff?'" Surprisingly, he wasn't hired.
