Courtney Love a no-show at Frances Bean Cobain's secret wedding

Oh, Frances Bean Cobain, always with getting the Internet’s attention.

The daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain secretly married her longtime boyfriend, Eeries frontman Isaiah Silva, sometime last week, and it appears her mother wasn’t invited — or was she?

Here’s what we know:

According to the Mirror UK, the couple got hitched in a small ceremony attended by a “close circle of friends,” which TMZ says included about 15 people.

Cobain, 23, only told her mom about the nuptials after they took place. A Tumblr photo later surfaced showing the pair in a black-and-white snapshot with Silva’s wedding band clearly visible.

Love, 51, addressed her M.I.A. status via Instagram on Saturday.

“If you think I’m sorry for being a no-show at any important events this week, think again,” the Hole rocker captioned a photo of herself and actor James Norley. “I was with @jamesnorley #candyface #worthflakingonanythingfor #heaven #worthit #slay #bae #cancelallmyappointments #donthate #stud #jealousmuch? ... Bwahaa xc.”

Honestly, we are truly disappointed — not in mom or daughter, may they forever have their ups and downs — but merely in the fact that Cobain squandered the opportunity to have her wedding go down in history as featuring one of the craziest mother-of-the-bride showings of all time.

Love and Cobain have shared a notably up-and-down relationship, but they seem to have been getting along lately, beginning around the release of the HBO documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck. To mark her daughter’s 23rd birthday last month, Love posted a throwback photo of herself with Kurt and then-baby Frances. “Our baby is all grown up now,” Love captioned the pic. “Jesus, Kurt, look at her face, what on earth were you thinking...!?!? God I miss you, we all miss you. #family #memories #turnbacktime #lovehim.”

Cobain committed suicide at age 27 when Frances was just 2. Or did he? This item could go one forever, but we’ll just end it with #SoakedInBleach.
