David Schwimmer's neighbors are not fans of his, nor do they want to be (we'll say it) friends. The 46-year-old actor has been the target of angry graffiti in New York's East Village ever since he moved in. It's like the one where Ross moved into the building and no one liked him all over again!

Ever since Schwimmer tore down a five-story 1852 townhouse for $4.1 million to build a 9,000-square-foot house, residents have been unhappy, the Huffington Post reports. Photos from the EV Grieve blog show someone had spraypainted "Ross is not cool" on a construction zone partition. Well, we knew that.

People were especially angry because the building was being considered for a historic designation. "He paid a pretty penny and built some shiny silver thing," one neighbor told DNAInfo. He's like a wart on the block. He doesn't belong here."

Other signs have read “The destruction of an irreplaceable historic building for what???” and “F--- you + your uglyness.” They were referring to the building, of course, and not Schwimmer -- although you never know.
