'Frozen' is No. 1, Elle Macpherson is 50 and Selena Gomez drops $3 million

Let's play the numbers game, shall we?

$1.072 billion:
Amount Disney’s Frozen has brought in since its release more than four months ago, making the flick the highest-grossing animated film of all time. The movie’s release last weekend in its final market, Japan, sent the numbers over the top. The movie to beat? Another Disney/Pixar gem, Toy Story 3, which grossed $1.063 billion and had mothers everywhere weeping as if insane. (Never grow up, mini Juice*!) Frozen broke into the top 10 films of all-time globally last weekend, Variety reports, and it won two Oscars — one for best animated film and the other for original song.

Elle Macpherson will forever in our hearts be whatever age she was when she guest starred as Matt LeBlanc’s love interest on Friends. But in real life, she’s 50. 50! No worries; the supermodel isn’t stressed about being half a century old, nor should she be. I mean, do you know any AARP members who could pull off posing topless on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia? “I feel loved, balanced, happy, healthy and at peace with who I am,” Macpherson said of her milestone birthday, which was Saturday, according to E! News. “Feeling good on the inside is more important to me now … looking good follows. My secret? Love, laughter … and my super greens.” Why did it have to be super greens?

$3 million:
Selena Gomez didn’t have too many wishes on her list when it came to finding the perfect mansion in Calabasas, Calif. (of Justin Bieber egging raid fame). But she did have one specific request: not in The Oaks! That would be the Biebs’ old neighborhood. So it looks like the Come and Get It singer got exactly what she asked for — a $3 million, five-bedroom, 7,200-square-foot estate just a stone’s throw from pal Kendall Jenner’s Hidden Hills dwelling, according to TMZ. Well, actually it’s Kendall’s mom’s pad, not hers, but still. Let there be manicures, pillow fights, the usj. (That’s officially how we’re going to spell usual for short from now on, just FYI. #usj) And what better way to be welcomed to the neighborhood than by a trespasser? Yes, Selena’s home already has been christened with its very first arrest, and the circumstances were rather creeptastic. TMZ says the singer and a friend arrived at the house on Sunday, heard a strange noise and called security. Just then a man rang the doorbell and asked if Selena was there. The friend said no and the guy left. Cue the creepy part: A short time later, sheriff’s deputies found the 21-year-old man had broken into her guest house. He was arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing.

Bond for said creepy guy.
