Glee's Cory Monteith checks into rehab for 'substance addiction'
Glee's Cory Monteith has re-entered rehab only a couple of years after admitting he'd checked in for substance abuse when he was 19, People reports. There was no indication of what the cause was, or whether his character Finn Hudson will be back or not.
Monteith "has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction," his rep told People in a statement. "He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery."
He told Parade magazine in 2011 he had been in a facility before, and admitted it because he didn't want kids to "think it's okay to drop out of school and get high." We can only hope he'll be out doing PSAs for Fox in no time.
