Harrison Ford will be back as Han Solo for 'Star Wars' sequels
There's no shortage of Star Wars news out there in rumorland, but this one has been gaining popularity: El Mayimbe of Latino-Review.com says he has word from a very reliable source that 70-year-old Harrison Ford is indeed returning as Han Solo for the upcoming sequels. That's gonna be an old Han Solo, by the time these get made.
"Back in November, Harrison Ford said he was open to the idea of returning as Han Solo, but it's official." Umberto "El Mayimbe" Gonzalez revealed on Fox News Latino's Victor Garcia this week. "Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars movies. ... His deal is done, it's just formality right now. They just haven't announced it yet."
El Mayimbe goes on to speculate that Ford, who once didn't want to return for Return of the Jedi, may eventually "get his wish" to have Han Solo killed in the sequels. That's getting a little ahead of things, but he's just throwing things out there. And why not? At this point you could say something completely off the wall like "Jake Lloyd will come back as Anakin Skywalker's ghost" and we'd print it just to see what people said.
