Yeah, keep smiling, dad.

X Factor judge Simon Cowell is not only going to be a daddy for the first time, but he's having the baby with his friend's wife. Because all the single women he's been dating are just too boring, sounds like.

New York socialite Lauren Silverman, 36, who is still married to real estate champ (and Cowell's close friend) Andrew Silverman, is pregnant with the music man's baby, Us Weekly reports. "She's around 10 weeks along," a source tells the mag. We sure hope the divorce papers come before the birth.Full Story

Haggis called Remini braver than he was.

Oscar-winning screenwriter Paul Haggis has come to the defense of ex-Scientologist Leah Remini following her split from the church, writing an open letter about how the actress' celebrity friends attacked her and praising her bravery. And haggis knows how it goes, following his own break from Scientology in 2009.

Writing he and Remini "were always friendly but never close friends," Haggis notes "she had always been a class act and a lovely human being." Then he started to dig into all the alleged attacks being levied against her, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"In the last few days, I read some things that really disturbed me. First was the way Leah was being attacked by her celebrity 'friends,' who were disparaging her character," Haggis wrote. "Having witnessed Scientology’s smear tactics, I can imagine how this was being orchestrated, but I was still shocked to see how quickly those friends -- some of whom had known Leah for 20 or 30 years -- jumped on the 'malign Leah' campaign, and with such apparent glee."Full Story

Matt Damon (and his wife) thought working out for 'Elysium' was 'worth it'

He probably cut back on the pizza and beer, is what he's saying.

He probably cut back on the pizza and beer, is what he's saying.

You'll be seeing a lot less of Matt Damon on the big screen when his new sci-fi movie Elysium hits theaters Aug. 9, but only because he worked out like a madman to get that ripped. It wasn't easy, either -- although it also wasn't as hard as having a robotic exoskeleton grafted onto his body in order to lead an invasion of a superfortress for the mega-rich, either.

"It was really hard because I love to eat and drink," the 42-year-old told People. "It's very hard to motivate me to get in shape." Part of the motivation came when director Neill Blomkamp showed him pictures of Damon's cut and tattooed badass character Max. "I went, 'Okay, this is definitely worth it,'" Damon said.Full Story

Has she ever given us any reason to doubt she will follow through?

Looks like those rumors that Lindsay Lohan wanted to stay in sober living after her release from rehab were true, after all. Now a court has ordered she needs to stay in therapy on the outside in order to make it stick. Cross your fingers, everyone.

After LiLo made a break for it Tuesday afternoon (and here we thought she was leaving Wednesday), the Cliffside Malibu rehab facility's CEO Richard Taite sent a letter to Judge James Dabney saying the actress needed three hours of therapy a week, TMZ reports. "If these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure," Taite wrote.Full Story

He probably smart and keeps his personal stash in his dressing room.

It should hardly come as a surprise that there's weed on Justin Bieber's bus. What is surprising is that customs officials found it at the Canadian border. Of course, Biebs was in concert in Detroit at the time, but still.

The Detroit Free Press reports a Bieber bus was trying to drive across the border from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit on Sunday when a police dog smelled something skunky. A search turned up the Mary Jane and some assorted paraphernalia. Bieber was performing at Joe Louis Arena that night.Full Story

She's had plenty of time to think about this. We wonder if she's heard about Amanda Bynes.

A blast from Juice* columns past is headed our way soon, as Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to leave rehab on Wednesday. Whether or not she leaves is another matter, because she reportedly wants to stay a few days longer. Somebody call hell and ask them to check the thermostat.

Rumor has it that Lohan wants to stay another three or four days because she doesn't feel like she's ready to eave, TMZ says. She wants to spend her transition in a "lower level, sober living house," which sounds like the most sensible LiLo news we've heard in the past seven years.Full Story

Leah says her family is there for her. Her real family, she means.

Leah Remini is spilling the beans about her split from the Church of Scientology. She doesn't exactly admit to being threatened for asking questions about church leader David Miscavige's wife, as has been so widely reported, but she sure does imply it pretty loudly.

"I believe that people should be able to question things. I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct. That for me, that's what I'm about. It wouldn't matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to," the 43-year-old actress told People on Saturday.Full Story
