The happy, soon-to-be sleep deprived couple.
David Arquette just hit the reset button, committing himself to 18 more years of child-rearing.
The 42-year-old actor just welcomed a newborn son, Charlie West, with girlfriend Christina McLarty, 33. Charlie was born around noon Monday in L.A., weighing 8 lbs., 7 oz.
“Mom, dad and baby are doing well,” Arquette’s rep tells Us Weekly. “They appreciate all of your well wishes and thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.”
The father of 9-year-old Coco with ex-wife Courteney Cox said he’s more prepared this time around.
“I’ve done it once so there’s not that fear that a first-time parent has because you just don’t know what to expect,” Arquette told People in January after word of the pregnancy got out in November. “You have to have a lot of faith that you will be able to keep them safe and not mess them up too much.”
The Scream 4 actor is stoked to welcome a little boy, telling People he’s looking forward to “playing catch, making [his son] laugh and seeing my girlfriend Christina being a mother for the first time and all the joy and love that it’s going to bring her and me.”Full Story
Seems we know who the favorite diva is. (It's Lea, right.)
This set ain’t big enough for the both of them.
Rumor has it Naya Rivera's swan song is coming a little early as she has been written out of the Glee finale and fired from the show just days after reports surfaced of an on-set blow-up between the actress and lead Lea Michele.
Tensions began to build between the stars earlier this month and a “major altercation” came to a head on set on April 15, Us Weekly reported. But a source tells the New York Daily News that the disagreement was actually with producers.
“She went off,” the source said. “But it had nothing to do with Lea.”
Naya’s rep is denying the whole thing, though. “Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story,” her people tell the Hollywood Reporter.
Reps for 20th Century Fox Television declined comment.Full Story
There’s still hope for funny women everywhere, or at least the already-famous ones, because Craig Ferguson is about to create another late-night vacancy when he leaves the Late Late Show in December. Ferguson made the announcement on Monday’s night’s ep.
“CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are 'consciously uncoupling,’ but we will still spend holidays together and share custody of the fake horse and robot skeleton, both of whom we love very much,” Ferguson said in a statement.
But don’t go feeling sorry for Ferg. Variety reports his last contract with CBS ensured him a payout of an estimated $8 million to $10 million once the Eye decided not to bestow upon him The Late Show slot. …Full Story
"Still Crazy After All These Years."
Who would have expected this from the couple known for peace, love and harmony?
Paul Simon, 72, and his wife, Edie Brickell, 47, were arrested on disorderly conduct charges after a family dispute, yet the couple held hands in court Monday.
Still Crazy After All These Years.
Simon told a Norwalk Superior Court judge that he had a rare argument with his wife Saturday at home in New Canaan, Conn. Simon and Brickell each said they did not feel threatened by the other and they saw no need for a protective order. The judge asked the singers to return to court on May 16.
A caller from their home dialed 911 Saturday night and hung up, police chief Leon Krolikowski said. Responding officers found minor injuries and believed it was a case of domestic violence.
Simon and Brickell, who were married in 1992, were each given a misdemeanor summons and one of them agreed to leave, Krolikowski said. The singers have three children together.

Well, this sounds like a BFD.
Steven Spielberg has confirmed he will direct the live action adaptation of the beloved Roald Dahl tale The BFG (that’s Big Friendly Giant).
According to Variety, Spielberg’s DreamWorks studios bought the rights in 2010, the plan being that John Madden (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) would direct. But, lucky for The BFG we thinks, Madden is busy with the Marigold sequel, so Spielberg hopped on board the celebrated children’s story train.
Melissa Mathison, who wrote the script for E.T., also wrote this screenplay. So, squee! The director’s latest project is set to be released in 2016.Full Story
Harrison, Carrie and Mark better not let us down after this.
Not quite sure what’s going on here, but we sure do like it.
Star Wars originals Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill were all spotted in London this past weekend. Not together or anything, but they were there. And guess what makes this coincidence super-duper exciting. The new Star Wars film is being shot in… wait for it… London!
The trio isn’t being very stealthy. Entertainment Weekly said Ford was seen on Thursday at London’s Hakkasan restaurant and on Saturday at Grosvernor’s Square.
Fisher recently tweeted, “So my dog Gary has been spotted in London, but apparently without me. Who has he been seeing? Let me know if you have any clues.”
And Hamill showed up in a twitpic with Peter Serafinowicz, who voiced Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace. “Met up with @HamillHimself in London today. I wonder why he’s here.”
Disney boss Alan Horn said last week the cast for the new trilogy was almost set and would be announced soon.Full Story
Well, they sure do look serious.
Everyone stop what you’re doing and grab some tissues and ice cream. George Clooney — the silver fox whom nary a woman (okay, one woman a thousand years ago) has been able to lock down — is engaged. We repeat: George Clooney is engaged to British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, according to People.
"George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem," an inside source blabs. "I think it's like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever."
Amal, who’s spent the last six months as the obligatory beauty on Clooney’s arm, was seen wearing a ginormous diamond ring on that finger on Thursday when the couple dined with Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber at Nobu in Malibu. And since no woman could ever buy herself beautiful, expensive jewelry, it must mean she and her leading man are locked in for the hitchin’.
Two more sources say they saw the betrothed couple at Craig's in L.A., apparently celebrating their engagement with friends on Wednesday. Amal was wearing her rock then, too. …Full Story
Her hospitalization coincides with her TV premiere.
As rumors swirl that Dean McDermott is about to confess to multiple affairs, E! News reports that Tori Spelling was recently hospitalized for almost a week.
No one is reporting why the Mystery Girls actress was in the hospital for six days, but what we do know is that Dean was by her side almost the entire time. Good thinking, cheater.
“He would arrive by 10 a.m. and didn’t leave until 8 most nights. He seemed very stressed out and worried,” a source tells E! “He would bring food and often only left Tori to go outside to catch some air or make a phone call.”
The 40-year-old 90210 alum was seen wearing a pink hospital bracelet as Dean helped her to a waiting SUV on Saturday afternoon. Though it is not clear why Tori was hospitalized, the daughter of TV mogul Aaron Spelling has caused concern with her seemingly drastic weight loss since reports of Dean’s infidelity surfaced last year. Now there are rumors he’s going to admit to cheating with several other women. …Full Story
We wonder if Brian and Celeste partook in the "second family" tradition of standing in their graves while exchanging vows.
Brian Baumgartner, The Office star who induced viewers' face-palming like ten times an episode, just got married. Brian wed his lovely bride, Celeste Ackelson in a backyard ceremony on Saturday, and we really wish we had been there.
Why, you ask? Because it was sort of an Office reunion. Attendees included sitcom alums Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski (with wife Emily Blunt), Oscar Nunez and Angela Kinsey, according to TMZ.
No surprise there. Brian referred to the cast as his second family as the show wrapped in 2013, telling People, “We’ve all grown up together. We’ve seen weddings and divorces and kids, success and failure.”
This is the second marriage for Brian, who has a daughter with his ex.Full Story

The only thing Bieber's entourage is missing: a world historian.
Justin Bieber has returned to the U.S. after offending a ton of fans in China and South Korea last week. Only (other) problem: He’s been detained by customs officials at Los Angeles International.
Witnesses tell E! News that officials questioned the 20-year-old Canadian for at least two hours while his entourage stood around twiddling their thumbs. Bieber was also detained while traveling from Canada to New Jersey for the Super Bowl in February. In that incident, officials searched his private jet for drugs but didn’t find anything. TMZ reported at the time that sources said he could expect the same treatment every time he tries to enter the country.
As for offending all those people in Asia? The Biebs posted a photo of himself in Tokyo last week where he visited the Yasukuni Shrine. The shrine honors fallen Japanese that include 14 convicted war criminals from World War II.
People in China and South Korea were pretty peeved, so the singer issued the obligatory apology. …Full Story

From left, Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau and Hayley Kiyoko.
We sure hope Aubrey Peeples knows how to act outrageous — truly, truly, truly outrageous — because the Nashville star just landed every girl of the ’80s dream role: Jerrica Benton a.k.a Jem! The 20-year-old up and comer will play the pink-haired lead in Jon M. Chu’s live action adaptation of Jem and the Holograms, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
But wait, there’s more. The Holograms have also been cast. Stefanie Scott of Disney’s A.N.T. Farm will play Jem’s sister Kimber, Aurora Perrineau of Pretty Little Liars will play Shana and Hayley Kiyoko of The Fosters will play Aja.
And that leaves no room for us, which makes us a little sad. But Jem!
The film — based on the 1980s Hasbro toy line that was also the most ultimate of all glam rock cartoons — has already begun shooting. The movie is being made “for a whole new generation with themes of being true to who you are in a multitasking, hyperlinked social media age.”Full Story

Master P’s estranged wife Sonya Miller is asking for $67,647,800 in cash and belongings, according to TMZ.
Miller estimates the total value of the couple’s assets to be nearly $174 million. That includes Master P's 31 properties, 13 cars, 45 companies and the like.
Miller wants 40% — eight of the properties that are spread across California, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee and Georgia; one of their three large chandeliers that are valued around $300,000 each (barf); $54 million of the $136 million value of Master P’s businesses, including No Limits Records; $10 million of her husband’s Make 'Em Say Ughh! energy drink company; her $28,000 wedding dress (seems fair); and one car, the Escalade, keeping her hands off his Bentley, Porsche, Jag, other Escalade, et al.
This would leave the rapper with a mere $111,095,500.
As for their son Romeo, he says she doesn’t deserve any of it until she can start being a better mom. Ouch.Full Story
