James Franco is getting his own reality TV show about himself
With James Franco's Comedy Central roast coming up, you'd think he'd be plenty busy just thinking up new facial expressions to fend off the upcoming barbs. But no, he's already working on a TV series of his own. It's just a reality show, though, so it's not that impressive.
James Franco Presents will premiere on Ovation in November, featuring 10, one-hour episodes focusing on his personal projects, Variety reports. “The show sees the word of art through James’ eyes,” Ovation chief creative officer Robert Weiss said. “All the different exploits that James is involved in, this show encompasses.”
Yeah, see, starring and producing a show about yourself doesn't seem like all that much work, in the grand scheme of things. But the show will feature other artists of various stripes, too, so it has that going for it. We doubt they will take the time feature lowly celebrity gossip writers, anyway.
