Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels are returning in 'Dumb & Dumber' sequel
It seems the rumors about a sequel to Dumb & Dumber are true -- and it's going to be a real sequel, with the real stars, not some half-witted prequel with no-name actors. Everyone from 1994 called, and they're all very happy.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will be reteaming with Peter and Bobby Farrelly for Dumb and Dumber To, Deadline.com reports. This is even after Warner Bros. all but gave up on the idea, but luckily (we guess), production company Red Granite Pictures is forking over $35 million to make the true sequel to the 1994 original.
The PG-13 pic will be shooting soon, between Daniels' return to The Newsroom and Carrey's still-unnamed bank robbery comedy with Owen Wilson, the site says. Well hey, if that gets delayed, who will even notice? It's been almost 20 years as it is.
