Not that anyone really has a whole lot invested in them anymore, but the Jonas Brothers have announced to People that the break they took from touring is going to be permanent. And you were really hoping they'd sing Lovebug one more time.

Just to make sure everyone gets their word in, Kevin told the mag, "It's over for now." That was followed up with Nick saying, "It's really hard to say 'forever.' We're closing a chapter, for sure."So at least you have hope for a reunion, but they all agreed this was best. "It was a unanimous decision," Joe added.

As you may recall (if you cared enough to tune in), Nick told his brother on Oct. 3 he was worried about where the band was going. "I was feeling kind of trapped," he said. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers."

The timing could have been a little better, as their tour in support of a new album was due to start that week, but better late than never, we always say.
