Josh Brolin checks into rehab for alcohol abuse
Oscar nominated actor Josh Brolin has checked into rehab to deal with alcohol abuse. His rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly and other outlets.
"He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an unnamed source told the magazine. The 45-year-old is in a Northern California facility.
On Nov. 2 Brolin was recorded having a fistfight with another patron at a Santa Monica, Calif., bar. The scuffle allegedly happened after the bar closed at 2 a.m. It was the same weekend he was caught shouting at a cab driver at a Del Taco drive-thru in L.A.
Brolin told TMZ on Nov. 4 that he was kicking the alcohol, saying "it won't be happening again" and that he was "completely done" with booze. Looks like he's keeping his promise.
