Josh Duggar completes rehab, is finally free to stop being so free
Josh Duggar has finished his six-month punishment — I mean faith-based rehab stint — after habitually cheating on his wife while lecturing other people on how to live their lives.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star is home and, “if nothing else, this is a happy time for their kids,” a source told People, keeping it completely real.
The Duggar tribe confirmed the news on their website: “Josh has completed his residential rehabilitation program. We are so thankful for everyone who worked with Josh in this program. It was a crucial first step in recovery and healing for Josh. Josh has now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family.”
Then they said a lot of stuff about God and prayer.
The 28-year-old former poster boy for conservative family values checked into a Rockford, Ill., facility in August after admitting he’s addicted to porn and had been unfaithful to his wife, Anna, 27.
“Anna will not leave him,” a source told People in August, adding, “Divorce is not even something that will be discussed.”
The family’s new show, Counting On — on which Anna will appear — premieres at 9 p.m. Tuesday on TLC.
Crazy timing, amirite?
