Bieben' ain't easy.

If for some reason you needed justification for why Justin Bieber makes our eyebrows twitch, consider this: The 19-year-old took time Monday to visit the Great Wall of China while on tour, which is fun and educational and touristy and whatever. But he made his bodyguards carry him on their shoulders. Someone must have forgotten the palanquin for his highness.

The official Believe Tour Twitter feed, @BelieveTUpdates, confirmed that was him, proudly posting this photo declaring "Justin being carried by his bodyguards up the Great Wall of China today in Beijing, China (September 30th, 2013)" Beliebers seemed to ooh and ahh as usual, but us, we're still scraping our jaws off the floor.

We're willing to concede that maybe they wanted to keep their performer safe, and prevent any slips, falls or strains. But wait, no, that's not right, because just before that, the same Twitter feed showed photos of him riding a bicycle on a Beijing sidewalk and a skateboard through a Beijing mall, not to mention other Internet photos of him making a bodyguard chase him while he rides his skateboard. So yeah, we're going to go back to thinking he's being a real diva.
